It is a simple javascript project which emulates a standard keyboard. A picture of a keyboard is displayed on a computer screen and the user points and clicks on the pictures of keys to enter text.
About the system
Virtual Keyboard as its name is the emulation of a standard keyboard. Here, it supports many phonetic layouts where user can type in any language on standard English keyboard. Furthermore, it has the feature of audio pronunciation for Devnagari phonetic layouts. It also supports the configurable list of keyboard names in the Dropdown.
How to run the system?
To run this project, you don’t need to have any kind of local server but yet a browser. We recommend you to use modern browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. To run this system, first, open the project in your browser by clicking the test_keyboard.html file which is inside the web directory.
