About Project

Simple Forum is developed using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript. Talking about the project, it contains a user side where a user can manage all the forums easily. This project contains limited features which is only related to forum. In this project, the user has to perform all the main functions from the user side.

About System

Talking about the features of the Simple Forum, the user has to make an id before viewing forums or for posting. The user can easily view all the available post and manage it. In order to add a post, the user has to provide a suitable name, content and attach media files.

Design of this project is pretty simple so that the user won’t find any difficulties while working on it. Simple Forum in PHP helps the user in managing forums easily. To run this project you must have installed virtual server i.e XAMPP on your PC (for Windows). Simple Forum in PHP with source code is free to download, Use for educational purposes only! How To Run??

After Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps

1st Step: Extract file
2nd Step: Copy the main project folder
3rd Step: Paste in xampp/htdocs/

Now Connecting Database

4th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
5th Step: Then, click on the databases tab
6th Step: Create a database naming “forum_database” and then click on the import tab
7th Step: Click on browse file and select “forum_database.sql” file which is inside “DATABASE” folder
8th Step: Click on go.

After Creating Database,

9th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/bforum/”

Provide the username and password which is provided inside the “Readme.txt” file.

LOGIN DETAILS ARE PROVIDED IN “Readme.txt” FILE INSIDE THE PROJECT FOLDER
