About Project
Shades Game project is developed using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Talking about the gameplay, it is not like Tetris, but kind of puzzle game. Here, the player has to move the selected color shades according to his/her choice position to combine all the similar colored shades and clear rows using Mouse controls/Tapping the screen. To score points, the player shouldn’t make a stack of blocks touch the top of the screen, which should be maintained by placing 2 shades of the same selected color on top of each other in order to combine into a single more dark-colored shade. He/she has to clear the row having the same color. If he/she fails to stop the stack and touches the top part, then the game is over.
Talking about the Game environment, the graphics are neatly simple and it can be played on your Android device too. There are different themes available for the players to select in the main menu. For the development of this simple web-based gaming project, Image is used, it is developed using JavaScript to bring the final output. All the gaming function is set from Javascript whereas HTML and CSS are set for the layouts and other minor functions.
To run this project, we recommend you to use Modern browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox. The game also supports on Explorer/Microsoft Edge. Shades Game in HTML5, JavaScript project is free to download with source code. For the project demo, have a look at the image slider below.
