The Defect Tracking System (DTS) is a web-base application that can be accessed throughout the Organization. This project is aim at developing an online DTS useful for applications developed in an organization. This system can be use for logging defects against an application/module, assigning defects to individuals and tracking the defects to resolution.
Purpose of the System: the Defects Tracking Application allows you to carry out four important tasks. They are
- Finding bugs
- Bugs reporting
- About bugs
- Application maintenance.
Each user should be assigne to at least one role so they can log in and perform one of the above tasks. User-friendliness is provided in the application with various controls. The system makes the overall project management much easier and flexible. There is no risk of data mismanagement at any level while the project development is under process. It provides high level of security with different levels of authentication.
Web-Enabled provides knowledge about the latest technology used in developing web-enable applications and client-server technology that will be great demand in the future. This will provide better opportunities and guidance in the future in developing projects independently.
