This System project is developed using PHP, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. Talking about the project, it has all the essential features required for the management of the school computer lab. This project contains only the admin’s side where he/she can add, edit, delete, view, computer items for the student. The Admin plays the main role in the management of the system.
About The System
This is a simple computer lab management system in a school This system deals with the computer-related problems in the school. Here all the tasks are done from the admin side. The system admin can add and delete the computer resources. Also, he can add the specific computer parts. Each accessory can be assigned to the different class. Here, the admin adds the computer related parts and allocates them to a location. Location is specifically nothing but the classes types like whether they are elementary or school level. Also, he can check the damaged items in the computer lab. If finds one, then he will send it for repair. Or he can even replace them with the new ones.
To run this project you must have installed virtual server i.e XAMPP on your pc (for Windows). This project in PHP with source code is free to download, Use for educational purposes only!
How To Run??
After Starting Apache and MySQL in XAMPP, follow the following steps
1st Step: Extract file
2nd Step: Copy the main project folder
3rd Step: Paste in xampp/htdocs/
Now Connecting Database
4th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/phpmyadmin/”
5th Step: Then, click on databases tab
6th Step: Create database naming “thesis” and then click on import tab
7th Step: Click on browse file and select “thesis.sql” file which is inside “DATABASE” folder
8th Step: Click on go.
After Creating Database,
9th Step: Open a browser and go to URL “http://localhost/tech/”

change mysql_connect() to mysqli_connect() in dbcon.php on line 8 now it`s not validating

How do I get passed this to run the system?
change mysql_connect() to mysqli_connect()
I fix the line 8 problem but now I got a error on line 9
after changing mysql to mysqli it is not validating even username and password =admin then also it is not validating
