The entire world along with every system is moving towards the concept of being computerized. The importance of e-governance is also being put forth. Here Nepal is one of the countries who is recently grasping the idea of information and technology, slowly but surely the government itself is moving towards it. The importance of information and technology is undeniably true. Yet there are many sectors where there is lack of computerization and one of the sectors is birth recording. Even though some initiation has been taken for it, it has yet to be implemented properly.
With the system “Birth Record System” that I have proposed the gap between the concept and achievement will be filled. My system will help reduce the manual work of recording into a file and will lead towards more modern way of storing data in the database which is far more secure and efficient than the traditional booking system. The system allows only the authorized person to access the system and view the records along with making changes to it.
The system is user-friendly and flexible meaning that with the basic knowledge of the computer and the system anyone with the authority can be able to use it. Also, with the requirement, the system can be enhanced in the future as well.
In conclusion, the system would prove to be very useful for the concerned government officials to record the data. This will help eradicate many flaws found in the traditional bookkeeping system and introduce a computerized security system. Due to the little time constraint, the system needs more development and can be further upgraded with many features to prove to be a complete system.
